The official launching of the much anticipated Lemo Fest yesterday in Bloemfontein marked the beginning of the 16-day festivities, first of its kind in the township. Amongst the big-name artists expected to grace these shores is the sensational jazz musician Mandisi Dyantjies. Mandisi, a renowned trumpeter, vocalist, and music director is expected to dazzle audiences with his jazz tunes laced with African rhythms.

The event organizers have promised music lovers an experience of a lifetime with a diverse range of artists, categorized into groups like Gospel, Afro Globe, Amapiano, HipHop and Jazz.

Other artists of note include gospel powerhouse Dumi Mkostad who will surely take revelers along a spiritual journey whilst keeping them firmly on the dance floor. Other artists billed for the Fest includes Morda, Black Motion, Lebo Sekgobela, Loyiso, Langa Mavuso, and Lamiez.

The festival also features exciting activities for the whole family including Golf, Aerobics, fashion show and the famous SMME Expo for entrepreneurs and innovators. The events venue infrastructure is out of this world and surely visitors in Bloemfontein will experience the best Mangaung township has to offer.
