The 18th of July is the day the late President Nelson Mandela was born, the day was declared 67 minutes of community service in honour of the late President Mandela.
In honouring his 67 minutes Mayor Mzwandile Toto was joined by municipal officials and other stakeholders in a cleanup campaign.
The Landfill site in Noupoort’s entrance next to N9 has been a hazard to travellers and the livestock, this due to heavy winds that blows some of the removed disposals towards the fence and even on the road depending on how strong the wind is.
The Mayor Cllr Toto joined by municipal officials and other stakeholders have embarked on a clean-up campaign with the intention to adequately attend to the hazard.
