The Premier of the Northern Cape, Dr Zamani Saul, today met with stakeholders from the construction and sports sectors in the ZF Mgcawu District Municipality in Upington.
The purpose of the meeting was to engage on the key challenges facing both sectors and to identify practical solutions to address them.

The Premier was accompanied by the MEC for COGSTA, Mr Bentley Vass, the MEC for Health, Ms Nontobeko Vilakazi, the Mayor of ZF Mgcawu District Municipality, Ms Mariana Basson and the Mayor of Dawid Kruiper Local Municipality, Mr David Kasi.
The Premier emphasised that the Northern Cape Provincial Government remains committed to working with all sectors to unlock development and service delivery in the district.
The meeting was followed by a site visit to ongoing school construction projects in the district.
The visit allowed the delegation to assess progress, identify challenges on the ground, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget to benefit learners and communities.
