The Northern Cape African National Congress (ANC) election campaign has entered its final phase which will culminate in the hosting of a provincial Siyanqoba Rally scheduled for this morning, (18 May 2024). “In a statement, the party’s Provincial Secretary, Deshi Ngxanga, said this is a final rally ahead of the elections to be held on the 29 May 2024.”
The rally will take place at Mxolisi Dicky Jacobs Stadium and is expected to be attended by Members and supporters of the ANC in the ZFM region. It is envisaged that a National Executive Committee (NEC) Member will give the key message from the NEC and will be supported by the Provincial Chairperson, Dr. Zamani Saul as well as messages of support from the leagues and the party’s alliance partners.
The ANC’s Siyanqoba Rally is a culmination of weeks of door-to-door campaigning and community meetings in various regions of the province with ZFM being no exception. So far, Provincial Chairperson Dr Zamani Saul said he is happy the party’s campaign message has managed to electrify the democratic electorate.
Meanwhile, a star studded line up of national artists is billed for the event with the likes of Makhadzi, Vusi Nova, Casper Nyovest, Puleng March and Skomota expected to grace these shores. The ANC will surely wind up its election campaign in style. Gates will open at 07h00 and entry is free.
