De Aar
The Premier of the Northern Cape, Dr. Zamani Saul, joined by the MEC of Education, Mr. Zolile Monakali and Members of the Executive Council officiated the Sod Turning Ceremony for a Special School in De Aar.
This school will be a first for the Pixley ka Seme District and will cater for learners which are differently abled. This initiative forms part of Provincial Government’s plans to ensure that each District has its own Special School.
This School will be a state-of-the-art structure, equipped with facilities designed to assist learners with special needs. The construction of this school is estimated at R164 million and is an investment into the future of our Province.
