SPU is thrilled to announce the official opening of the Campus Safety Desk, in collaboration with South African Police Service (SAPS). In a statement the University said that this was part of its bid to form solid and respectful partnerships with community structures in Kimberley and the Northern Cape. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony, was held at SPU’s Central Campus recently and was attended by SAPS representative, Major General Ngubelanga and SPU Acting Director for Facilities and Services, Ms Maureen Malaka. This partnership will prioritise safety and support for the SPU community.
