MEC Dibolelo Mance is operating a brush cutter during the cleaning campaign at Lenyora la Thuto Senior Secondary School in Botshabelo, on 20 February 2025.

MEC Dibolelo Mance lead a well-oiled machinery of government stakeholders on a cleaning campaign held at the Lenyora La Thuto Secondary School in Botshabelo.
This stems from the request the school under the stewardship of Ntate Sephaka the Principal of the school that, “we appreciate all you have done for us MEC Mance as we receive these maths kits and if you can please assist us with some cleaning muscle in and around our school so that our environment is habitable and encouraging to occupy for both us as teachers and our learners.”
A few weeks earlier MEC Mance was at the same school donating maths kits to the grade twelve learners in an endeavour to support them especially those doing drawing and design subjects and technical subjects.
“We are happy to offer our support to learning especially schools that offer technical subjects like this one, Lenyora la Thuto because it relates to our business or mandate as the Department of Public Works & Infrastructure,” said MEC Mance.
The Lenyora la Thuto School has been adopted by the Department. Stakeholder engagements with other strategic partners like the Central University of Technology (CUT) and training SETA’s will be done to foster an innovative and futuristic thinking around Artisanship and making that space attractive.
“If we could invest holistically to schools like Lenyora la Thuto we can build a formidable technical skills base. The technical subjects offered here can produce at the long run skilled and well-trained artisans which is our interest as the Department because we are technical in character,” added MEC Mance.
MEC Mance extended her appreciation and gratitude to the following stakeholders, Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development for providing seeds used in the vegetable garden establishment, COGTA for deploying the Community Development Workers (CWP’s), Community Safety, Roads and Transport for unleashing the yellow fleet (TLB’s, Grader, Tipper Trucks and Operators), Mangaung Metro for the continued support by the local Councillors and Area Managers.
