On January 27th, Consul General Juvent visited the Confucius Institute at Rhodes University and had a discussion with the university’s leadership. Since the cooperation with Jinan University in China, the Chinese teaching effect has been remarkable, and will officially recruit Chinese master’s degrees, becoming the first university in South Africa and even the whole of Africa to train Chinese master’s degrees. Consul General visited the Confucius Institute and extended Chinese New Year greetings to all the teachers of the Confucius Institute on behalf of the Consulate General.
President Sizvi wished the Chinese people a happy New Year, welcomed Consul General and his delegation and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Consulate General for its consistent support, and looked forward to further promoting friendly cooperation between the two sides in the new year.
