The Executive Council of Pixley Ka Seme Municipality, under the leadership of Executive Mayor Cllr. Rhoode Itumeleng met with the residents of Van Wyksvlei, Kareebeeg Local Municipality, today. The Speaker, Cllr, accompanied the Executive Mayor. Thandi Sintu and the Mayoral Councillors of Pixley ka Seme District Municipality and Councillors from Kareeberg Local Municipality, officials of PKSDM and sector departments.
The Accounting Officer, Mr. Isak Visser, presented the PKSDM 2022 /2023 Annual Report to provide insight into the performance of PKSDM. The Mayoral Council is mindful of communities’ challenges and seeks to address and honour commitments. Today’s engagement also served as a feedback session on matters previously raised by the community.
Public participation is fundamental in local government; therefore, we prioritize outreaches as Council Meets the People. These public engagements ensure that Pixley ka Seme District Municipality honours this legislated obligation.
