The cooperation between South Africa and China continues to bear fruits; this is evident in a number of initiatives between the two nations. \u00a0In a bid to address the skills shortages, the Department of Higher Education and Training will send a number of local students to China to study scarce and critical skills of the future. In a recent statement the Department of Education said about 100 students will study in China next year.<\/p>\n
Higher Education and Training Minister, Dr Nobuhle Nkabane (pictured) made the announcement during a media briefing held recently.<\/p>\n
Nkabane noted that South Africa has a long-standing cooperation with the People\u2019s Republic of China in various areas of higher education and training, which continues to grow and support South Africa\u2019s knowledge and skills development.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur engagement with China aligns with South Africa\u2019s strategic goals regarding technological advancement and international collaboration in education,\u201d Nkabane said.<\/p>\n
