SASSA<br \/>\nremains committed to providing vital support to South Africans in need and ensuring that<br \/>\ngrant payments are made on time and securely.<\/p>\n<p>New Grant Amounts as of October 2024:<br \/>\n\u27a2 Old Age Grant (Below 75 years): Increased from R2 180 (April 2024) to R2 190<br \/>\n\u27a2 Old Age Grant (Above 75 years): Increased from R2 200 (April 2024) to R2 210<br \/>\n\u27a2 War Veteran\u2019s Grant: Increased from R2 200 (April 2024) to R2 210<br \/>\n\u27a2 Disability Grant: Increased from R2 180 (April 2024) to R2 190<br \/>\n\u27a2 Care Dependency Grant: Increased from R2 180 (April 2024) to R2 190<\/p>\n<p>This increase, in addition to the increase earlier in April 2024, reflects governments<br \/>\ncommitment to improving the welfare of all grant beneficiaries.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, payment dates for October 2024 are as follows:<br \/>\n\u27a2 Older Persons&#8217; Grants will be paid from 02 October 2024, this includes any grants<br \/>\nlinked to these accounts<br \/>\n\u27a2 Disability Grants will be paid from 03 October 2024, this includes any grants linked<br \/>\nto these accounts<br \/>\n\u27a2 Children\u2019s Grants and all other grants will be paid from 04 October 2024<br \/>\nBeneficiaries are kindly reminded that there is no need to rush to withdraw funds on the<br \/>\nfirst payment day, or to withdraw all their funds at once. It is safer to keep your funds in<br \/>\nyour bank account, transact with your card and only draw small amounts at a time.
