MEC Lebogang Motlhaping, responsible for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs (COGHSTA), in the Northern Cape, is leading Team COGHSTA to the second day of the NCOP Provincial Week engagements continuing today, 19 August 2026 at the Siyancuma Local Municipality, in Douglas, for a closer look at municipal performance, service delivery and key development projects.<\/p>\n
Today\u2019s programme includes engagements with the municipality, visits to housing developments, sewer and water pump stations, and further discussions on resident beneficiation and land reform.<\/p>\n
Later the NCOP delegation will meet with the community of Breipaal, in Douglas, as part of public participation engagement to listen to the community about service delivery matters affecting them directly.<\/p>\n
