The Northern Cape MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture, Mr. Mangaliso Matika, extends heartfelt congratulations to 21-year-old Mohau Nkota, a rising football star from Kimberley, on his historic signing with Saudi Arabian club Al Ettifaq.<\/p>\n
Nkota\u2019s journey\u2014from the dusty pitches of Galeshewe to signing a three-year contract with one of the Saudi Pro League\u2019s top-flight teams\u2014marks a monumental achievement for the province and the country at large. His rapid rise, which includes a standout debut season with Orlando Pirates and notable performances in the CAF Champions League, has now propelled him to the global stage, where he will share the field with football legends such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.<\/p>\n
