This event was spearheaded by the Speaker of Umsobomvu Local Municipality, Cllr Nandipha Stafa.<\/p>\n<p>The Ouboks project is a crucial part of the Northern Cape Provincial Government&#8217;s initiative to provide subsidized housing to those in need. Similar projects are also underway, with construction set to commence early next year at Norvalspont.<\/p>\n<p>Thus far, a total of 11 houses have been handed over to beneficiaries, with representatives collecting keys on behalf of those who couldn&#8217;t attend.
